macbookpro bad design

so I have a new 15" Mac Book Pro.
I use an apple mouse with it.
I put the mouse cable across the top of the keyboard, along the hinge of the screen.
at some point i've adjusted the screen and trapped the mouse cable inbetween the screen and laptop body.
but due to the sharp edges on the laptop body where it hinges with screen, i now have a ripped and torn mouse cable.
great.
for over a £1500 i shouldn'y need to file of sharp edges on a computer case.
or buy a new mouse.
could they not put one usb port on the right side. we're not all 'creative' lefties.

I don't see how you trapping your mouse cable in the screen is bad computer design. The cable could just as easily gone behind the screen.
But yes, you're right about paying that much for a sharp edges mouse muncher. Why not go with something curved?

hahahahahaha. what a dick! use your initiative mate, if the mouse lead isn't long enough get a usb extension lead. That's what i've done. The mouse has the possible design fault for not having a long enough lead and you're the idiot for trapping it in there.

why on earth would you run it in front of the screen and shut it?
that's like saying my old lappy was bad design because i closed the lid with a pen in it and it broke. it wasn't, it was bad design because it was shit in just about every other way. or gravity, gravity is rubbish, i've broken lot's of things because of it's design failings.pft!
