My pregnant wife asked e this morning to create a nice compilation with music she can play for the baby during the day =) do you have any suggestions for not too radical and upbrat tunes? i was thinking of john lennon, divine comedy and such.
thanks for the advice!

Some classic kid fare from the 70's that we grew up on, that our kid enjoys is "Free to be You and Me" and the soundtrack to "Really Rosie" by Carole King and Maurice Sendak (Many remember the song "Chicken Soup With Rice" real well).
Our spawn also loves Rufus Wainwright, Cat Stevens, and the (Broadway) soundtrack to "Sweeny Todd"

I heard that playing great classical (Bach, Mozart, etc.) is really beneficial to your unborn child. It's also good music.

My little girl & boy, now just love dancing... My girls only two and she's already figured out what she likes and doesn't. And my boy will be going of to some sort of dance group, he's got breaking 'n' funkin in his blood!
