Never really liked them "back in the day" and I only saw them once back then at Lollapalooza and it was during daylight in 90+ degree weather so I wasn't that into it.
Over the years I've really started loving their music and I'm pretty psyched to catch them on this "cash in" reunion tour.

i really really really wish they weren't doing this.
- I agree, glad I saw them back in the day - but this is disappointing.SuperSport

c'mon! I've seen Stephen Malkmus a bunch of times and everyone yells out for him to sign Pavement songs.
You know you want to see them.

oh i'm a huge fan. seen them several times. crooked rain tour was the first i was old enough.

They are terrible live and they're assholes.

yeah I was "old enough" back then I just didn't like their out of tune guitars, off key signing & slacker noodley jams.
Now that I'm an old man I dig it... beats that AiC & RHCP shit I was listening to back then.

best band ever!! at least in terms of lyrics...
have seen them a couple times, looking forward to seeing them again in March..
- I really hope you're joking about that lyrics comment. Their lyrics are pretty awful.CygnusZero4

I have a pretty serious mancrush on Malkmus
Saw them a couple times back in the day. Have seen the Jicks a few times since then. A couple Pavement albums are definitely on my personal top20 list. Not sure how I feel about reunion tours in general though... usually just brings out the assholes and sells out in 10 minutes.

I was a huge fan... I've seen every concert they made here in Milan... a great band.
I was truly amazed to see Mark Ibold playing bass with Sonic Youth 3 years ago in the Daydream Nation celebration concert in Ferrara.

Blind date with the chancer
We had oysters and dry lancers
When the check arrived we went dutch, dutch, dutch, dutch
A redder shade of neck on a whiter shade of trash
And this emory board is giving me a rash
Im flat out
Youre so beautiful to look at when you cry
Freeze, dont move
Youve been chosen as an extra in the movie adaptation
of the sequel to your life.- < that is good song writing..neue75_bold
- A shady lane,
Everybody wants one...ItalianStallion - of course technically it's not song writing if you make it up on the spot, which is the case with most of their songs..neue75_bold

So what does it mean a mistake or two
If it's the kind of mistakes no one can trace
