blarg couldn't get my ipod fixed until yesterday so my first 4 mile run didn't count... wah wah.
Ran outside this morning for the first time in a month, the MD has had me on a treadmill b/c of injury. It was SO NICE. I love watching the sun rise. Treadmill is deadmill. feel like a rat on a wheel.

Did my first Half Marathon today – a 1pm start and it was boiling. very hilly and apparently one of the tougher ones - "you will not get a PB" said the starter on the tannoy (?sp).
Completed it... just... 1hr 41mins, walked at 10mile.... and my Gf's little bro is in hospital over night after collapsing. Never underestimate the heat.
- wtf. You sound like this is a typical day at Dancer's house. Children collapse, people get hospitalized... but it's all good.VectorMasked

Anyone having issues with the Nike+ website.
Nothing is clickable?- could it be that annoying firefox habit of not knowing wtf flash is and ignore anything clickable?VectorMasked

Well now my Mac is not picking up the sensor. It says "Batt Full" so it's getting power just No Nike utility. Anyone know where to find it to launch separately?

what are the best headphones for running? I wish we could use bluetooth headphones with this but since the nike+ takes up the spot we have to go wired. Just curious how you guys keep your headphone cords out of the way and if there are headphones great for working with the nike+ I prefer in ear ones
- I would probably stay away from headphones when runningMeeklo

as far as earphones, I like the sony fontopia (old model) the best.
On top of not having those dangerous rubber movable parts, it has volume control on the wire. this is huge to me as usually the cable is far more accesible/ easier to control than having to use the ipod's controls. If you can find them online, they should be under $30

The best I've tried in my entire life are this:
Senhaizer PMX 75 (for 2009 they cchanged to PMX80)
http://www.sennheiserusa.com/pri…It can be adjusted to fit any ear and have an ear clip. It's almost impossible for them to fall out. Aside from this they have a "shirt" clip for the cable. This clip ensures the cable doesn't get in the way of your arms.

^Have to agree with VM.
Bought these (after recommended on here). I roatate them in the ear (to lock in place) the wrong way but they still sit snug.I clip them onto the rear of my shirt neck, run them down the back of my shirt and out the righthand sleeve to where my ipod/iphone is.
Takes a while to set up but not wires flinging around.

I also recommend those Senhaizer PMX 75. I got them after VectorMasked recommended them to me. I'm always amazed at how much stuff I can do without noticing these are even on.
