i am working on an annual report. it is finished and ready to print, but the client wants a larger version for himself because he is old and can't see. It needs to be about twice as big. Does anyone know a way to scale the entire document without losing image resolution? I don't want to have to redesign the whole thing just for a few copies...thanks.

Just export it as a pdf and print to larger paper? Expand-to-fit the paper. Hells bells, just do that from InDesign.
- That'll affect rez, tho.era4O4
- Not noticeably. If you're dealing with 300dpi images, you'll be fine if printing from a laser.********
- pylon is right...resolution loss in the images probably isn't a problem if this guy can't read 8pt copy********

Annual Reports still exist? j/k. Cool gig, man. I wanna do one.
Anyway, I don't think what you're seeking is possible, unfortunately.

I'd do what pylon suggests.
You can do a layout adjustment, but that's not going to increase the type size and fix the rags on your line length. Meaning, you'd have to do that by hand. Unless you're billing for it, this is a bad idea.
The other thing you can do is select all of the items on the page and increase their size using the percentage fields in the top bar of the UI, which is essentially the same thing as pylon has suggested, but allows you to customize the size of some elements.

Replace his glasses with binocular lenses when he isn't looking & you should be good to go.
- or just give him a magnifying class with his printed copy.********

Layout / Fit to page
Not sure about the text but you can modify paragraph and character styles for that.
- It's "Layout Adjustment" not "Fit to page"...ItalianStallion
