This is my current ride. Nothing amazing, but the gears help me get up the Manhattan Bridge and it's a hybrid, so it's decent on trials too.

I am just getting into this bike scene... but i don't know much about the specs of a bike and i want to learn so I can rebuild it custom. Does anyone know any sites that talk about building bikes custom? I would just bring it somewhere... but i'd like to save money and learn how to maintain my own bike.
I have an 80s road bike I want to bring back to life. I have been looking at velocity B43 rims. I am getting confused trying to figure out what size i'll need to fit on my bike and a wheel hub size?

Stop by a bike shop and talk to the guys who work there. I doubt they would mind giving you proper measurements and some info abut bikes and all.

- you should get carbon. aluminum is harsh. for the price of the S1 you could get a nice '09 or '08 carbon model********
