What would you recommend, xbox 360 elite or Platstation Slim?

- is blueray the future?broxybluenose

Way better games for Xbox, but the machines are crap. Almost all Xboxes are plagued with the "red ring of death" after a year or so.
- Way better games? Not true. Good games on both systems. Each platform has it's "[other] killer".5timuli
- There are probably more games, but not necessarily better.5timuli
- Good games on both for sure, just seems like Xbox has way more killer titles. I don't own either mind you :)designbot
- Luckily lots of the good ones make both platforms I suppose.designbot

PS3 —> me biased of coursed.
In reality, to someone who really has no preference I don't think there's a lot of difference. It all comes down to what type of games you like to play. And, of course, if you want a Blu-Ray player.

360 unless you want a glorified DVD player. Better games for 360.

What's best for sport and action games?

Xbox 360, Project Natal. If spelled correctly. Look on u tube man.
- Natal is fucking shite. The demo was pointless. And it's unrealistic in the grand scheme of things. People play games for a reason.5timuli
- that shit will not happen for like 5 yearsEtype
- And it will never replace the controller (of some form) anyway. PS3 has it's own version which is much more down-to-earth.5timuli
- Well guys as i see things this is closest to the future as we know it. Only cheep hologram missing. But that's my oppTomBac

a psp? i have 2, they are nothing like an xbox. this "platstation slim" though, i am intrigued though, do you have a link?
- broxybluenose0
The only problem with the slim, is that I always try to avoid buying the 1st gen of anything

psp is the handheld. didn't you mean ps3?
- scarabin0
the answer depends on whether you want to have to return the console 1-5 times while owning it

i don't play games but if i'm to get a game system between these 2 system i would go for ps3.
although microsoft is trying to make xbox much more innovative and better interaction with other xbox user, i simply just don't trust MS product is stable.

I have a 360, it's never gone bad on me, and while I've never played a PS3, I know plenty of people who think the Xbox online experience is better.
Also, have a Netflix account? Xbox has Netflix streaming, and it's wonderful. They just improved it so you don't even have to add movies in your queue. You can just browse all available movies on the xbox and watch whatever you want.

I haven't tried the PS3, but in all honesty you guys have no idea how much I miss Gears of War. I had to sell my xbox360 because of my addiction.
