The steak rules, ditch the rest. The site should be all steak all the time.

maybe we could all invest some capital in his business. you know, we'd all have a 'steak' in his future...

I believe I've seen more 'advanced' sites than this that does not need a preload. Does the preload do anything at all? It's there just to show off the steak?

Drop all the intros, and make the design simpler. You have to understand that the vast majority of your users, whether it be potential clients or other designers, want to see your WORK. So bring it to us right away.
Your portfolio should display your style, but first and foremost present the right information to the right people.

yeah like the people said, start from page 3 - forget the other 2 useless steak pages... although i do like steak...
the fonts are a bit strange —
just keep working on it like the people said!
Better than me for a first time effort thats for sure!

Looks like you got the functionality in place, but cmon, you should know better than to post here if it's not done;)
Start with a basic grid so that the layout is consistent and go from there...it's all over the place right now.
Also pixel text is meant to be displayed at a set size.

Being REALLY picky here, but why is the "News" background field rounded, but no others? :(

I think you've got some nice work to show - the artwork section looks like it could be really interesting and cool, but you put that last. You put a 'coming soon' (motion) as your first item!
I reckon those flash transitions, and the loading / waiting, are going to cause a lot of people to give up.
If I was you, I'd dump your flash website - it's not doing you any favours and it's frustrating to use. I'd create (yet another) indexhibit site. Maybe too many people use them, but at least this format shows off work in a simple / accessible way.
