Barcelona Apartments?

Hi everyone,
Off to Barcelona with 4 friends in September, so looking for a 2/3 bedroom apartment. If anyone has had a good one/ any recomendations would be appreciated.or Anyone who lives there...where would make a good base?

just came back from a week in this apartment - it did us very well, though the two bedrooms facing the lightwell can be a little noisy from the lift apparently (we slept in main bedroom and it was really quiet). The terrace is good but as the aprt is on the first floor it's a little overlooked. The bathroom is tiny but clean and functional. 4 blocks from sagrada familiar, 8 blocks from passeio de gracia.

I can contact you with a Canadian girl who lives there and has an one bedroom apt for rent. She knows people in this business - we got good discounts when using her referrals when we needed larger apts than hers.
Other than that http://rentals.loquo.com/english… is the place to look, as ernexbcn wrote. Mind you they often give you the price per person, additional ppl extra + cleaning charge.
The best place I stayed in BCN at was at Corders street by a company whose site is down atm but can be booked via many

These are one bed apts but they are fantastic - they have restored an old building, added a lift which door opens to each apt on every floor. The top one has a roof balcony. They have a few buildings like that around bcn, ie. this one has 3-4 bed apts http://www.hostelworld.com/hoste…

Homeaway.com is a good service too. I had found an apartment in Rome for the summer through them and it was fantastic. It connects you with the individual renters directly so you can deal with real people. Our landlord was super nice and even gave us a discount since we were there for 4 months, so it was worth it. Check it out.

We stayed in the Raval one - the area is a bit rough around the edges (but cool - think Shoreditch / LES) but the apartments are amazing.
