I was just there a few weeks ago and I cannot recommend enough whotells:

We stayed in the Raval one - the area is a bit rough around the edges (but cool - think Shoreditch / LES) but the apartments are amazing.
- Super cheep too - think we paid 120 euro each for 4 nights.Gordy22
