White MacBook in for second case replacement.

if they are replacing something without you asking for it, its because they don't want to get sued, maybe your computer was on a recall a couple of years ago, or something like that.
Be suspicious, apple makes amazing computers, but their customer service is famous for being really really bad.

i spoke to someone at customer relations she told me if i have more problems with it to give her a call and she will take it from there.

Yes, they'll replace it. They gave me a replacement after I had three failures.
Tell them you want a new machine and they'll take care of it if you've had 3 major problems.

When you get it back make sure the isight works before you leave.
Mine cracked and I didn't check the isight...when i got home two weeks later I realized it didn't work. I took it apart and fixed it myself. it was totally unhooked.

well I am not doing the in store repair. I shipped it out. Should have it back tomorrow morning.

i know a few folk who have had the same problem with white iphones - tiny hairline/stress cracks.
apple replace them with refurbs no questions asked.

@SlashPeckham Why do you say no chance? There is always a chance. I think it's cheaper for them to send me a new laptop then to keep repairing it.

So just to update everyone, Apple is giving me a new MacBook Pro 13inch even though my white macbook has been out of warranty for a year.
