Sort of. I've been trying to figure out how to invest my money in our current economy with the banks being a big letdown these days. I put money in, and a chunk disappears.
I'm worried something is going to go wrong and then it will all go away.

oh I mean I should say investment accounts / mutual funds. technically it's still there, I know.

There are lots of safe investment options available. My funds, my girlfriends funds and most people I know were barely hit at all.

since we're on a serious note now, can I ask where you invest your money? I'm looking to not put all eggs in one basket because I only have one bank with an investment account right now.

i bank in a co-operative bank.
they don't invest in arms, environmentally harmful companies, oil, etc etc and the shareholders are the investors. So, I take a tiny share of the profit
