Does anybody try to accommodate this browser? There are still a lot of people using it (upwards of 20% by some counts) but man, it's a pain to deal with.
If you were going through a major redesign, would you still try support this browser? Is "degrading gracefully" even an option with this thing?

Yes you should support it.
Graceful degradation is fine.

support it if you can, but don't waste too much time on it unless your client or target audience uses it extensively. (think military and gov't agencies. many are still on IE6)
otherwise, especially with the release of IE8, many places are dropping support for it including youtube (and by extent, i would assume google will as well)

i tried using the filter but nothing is coming up. I typed in Internet Explorer 6 and get lots of results, but the first two pages didn't have anything relevant. Do you have some links from past discussions? Thanks.
