MacBook annoyance

1. When I am using my laptop on my lap, and have my hand over the left speaker area (doing shortcuts etc), due to the light sensor, my screen goes bright and dark over and over
2. Single pad button keeps making my font size bigger
3. Single pad button does not work or does something not intended because I am used to having my thumb on it and move my finger at the same time.

laptops on lap are all hot as hell.

Also, the edges on the new one have cut me slightly. The little dip where you lift to open the lid, poked me way too much and bloody.
Also, the single button has both left and right click, annoying when I just want to click.

Also, only 17 inch has matte screen which I have AND IT LOOKS FREAKING UGLY!!!!!!!

Shit. I was hoping to get a new one too. I had wondered about the large single button thing and it causing problems. I guess I'll hang on to my old MBP.
Also, you might not know you can change the energy saver preferences so that your screen doesn't automatically dim.

BTW, that multi touch and CS4 photoshop has a serious annoyance of canvas rotate which you can turn off after downloading the patch.
So when you use two fingers, one to press and other to point, since it looks like you are pivoting, it will turn the whole canvas.

Go To System preferences > Display to turn off the automatic brightness changeing with Ambient light.

the trackpad has annoyed me since I bought mine. they say the whole thing is the button, but really only the bottom half is clickable from a comfortable standpoint. Plus, you need to use two fingers to do things like clicking and dragging a folder, but it gets a little glitchy when it senses two fingers.

something I just noticed with the touchpad and two fingers when you zoom in or out (make text bigger or whatever) before it was impossible to control and be gentle with it, now it zooms or grows in steps.. which is Super nice.

I never understanded how people can do real work with a trackpad. if used only for browsing and small stuff it's great but to use it with photoshop or any other work application is just nuts to me...
