    Hello all,
I've been a happy owner of a Nikon D40 for the past year, but am finally able to afford a full-frame DSLR.

If I were going to buy a camera in the next six months, what would the full-frame DSLR with video recording I could buy with the best features/price ratio?

I would be using it for personal travel photography mostly, as well as shooting random videos.

And advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you bought expensive lenses for the d40, I'd look into staying with the family and get the d90. There is a rumor that the Nikon D700x would have video, be full frame, and-the-like. But is un confirmed.

The "D300s" that a highly anticipated late summer or fall, looks to have near HD video. It isn't full frame, but will be a wicked body by any means.

But if you haven't gotten expensive, you won't be displeased with Canon's 5d MKII. The available lenses for Canon mounts are quite good.
