This is a brilliant business model. You effectively have thousands of employees that you never have pay a dime to. All you have to do is troll around design sites and find hungry students who are willing to work for headphones. Genius if you ask me.

Sikma, you're absolutely right. Trouble is, I haven't seen anyone profiting from this business model nut up and say the truth just as you've written it.
I take that to mean that they see the other side of the argument but are too entrenched in their business and/or too ashamed to admit it.

I'm sure this site is making good money, hence the prizes they can offer. Plus they don't have to do any work. The only problem is that they appear to be targeting designers in first world environments - English, Spanish, German, ect. For this to be truly effective they should be aiming for designers in third world countries who are really hungry. That way they won't have to offer as good of prizes and would be able to make a greater profit.
