that note from heena above is fantastic. as far as we know the kids looking at a guy who just offed his mum and is about to sell him into slavery.
and kids aren't innocent. the little fuckers have no job, pay no bills have parents on call 24/7 and simple shit in their pants guilt and self respect free. that aint innocent, it's clever and scheming. they know what they're doing. the bastards.

This is a heart wrenching photograph of a desperate young orphan in Haiti. He had nothing, he was alone and very scared and he was so young. He just wanted his mummy. His mummy is dead.
I shot him on a 50mm Zeiss. Giclées available in the online shop.

well that's the thing with photography. they like to document things. so to do that, they distant them self from what really happing.

I like the work, and yes one can't help everyone in need, but my question is WHAT is this photographer doing to help these people?!!
seriously, does a chunk of her profits go some where other than her pocket?! (i looked through her site found nothing, that's why i ask.)
