I've been feeling bummed out lately, so I made steak two nights in a row. It was good, both times.

- what's your cut? I'm a ny strip guy myself. Also, i add a little fresh rosemary to my kosher salt and fresh peppergrunttt
- I like a NY strip as well or whatever looks good at the store. No proper butcher near by. Sometimes the top sirloins even look better than the Striploins at the market.brains

- Nice touch with the rosemary, that'd be nice, I've been known to put a VERY sparing amount of dijon on both sides, very sparing.brains

I want me some grade A5 Wagyu beef. My mouth constantly salivates at the thought. It is becoming so bad my swallowing muscles are close to herniating.
