Jess you live in Brooklyn NYC, why do you care for what law states where someone gets buried in the state of California??
I love Michael Jackson but I don care where he is buried, cremated or preserved in ice this kind of stuff this petition feels wrong.. considering you live in NYC....

the carbonite is a black or charcoal coloured compound which defeats all that skin bleaching mikey did thru the last few decades...
he needs to be encased in clear aluminum in a crotch grabbing pose and displayed on the 404 freeway as you enter Los Angeles like the Statue of Liberty in NYC.

Could care less about the MJ issue, but I do agree that you should be able to be buried somewhere other than a commercial cemetery. I've taken a lot from this earth, I owe it a body. My wish would be to be wrapped in a shroud and put directly into the earth with a tree planted above. Since of course this is illegal, I have to settle with cremation.

it shouldn't matter where you're buried as long as you agree to become fertilizer and not be considered "sacred" you're dead, you're decomposing, the worms don't care who you were? why should we act like you're still alive. cemeteries are headstone collection areas.

i miss the Captain EO ride in DisneyLand in Cali, that was the most amazing from the 80s i can remember....
it was 3D it was live action and it was a ride... also it was michael jackson in an original movie just for the ride and the movie part was like 45 minutes and the chairs had speakers and air blasts and vibrators built into the seats... it was doppers...
they took it down soon after mj had his first court case in the 80s...
miss those days...

I don't see why we need to change the law just for MJ.
If this is a real issue, it should have been brought up long ago.
Also, FYI, laws don't get changed overnight. It would probably take a while, and you'd have to dig MJ up and rebury him.
