Falling in Love

I'm not sure if i'm having a hard time in falling in love. I've been with someone for 7 weeks now, and I'm having a hard time feeling the emotions. She makes me very happy, and seems like someone I want to be with. The only problem is the feelings. How long does it take to fall in love? I don't want to force it, but I really want things to work. There's been times in the past where I fell in love in a week, and there's been times where I had feelings faster. Over the years, I think I hesitated with my feelings because I didn't want to get dissappointed. Can I still make my current relationship work? And what's your favorite font? Ok, it's design related now.

This doesn't make any sense you never have to "work" at falling in love... you may have to work on the relationship but after 7 weeks you don't know if your in love that should tell you something.

Enjoy what you've got, and don't over think it. Once you start doing that I'm pretty sure your answer will present itself.
oh, and sadly, I'm terribly un-original and am in love with avant garde at the moment.

i'm with nicole-marie on this one... if it's 7 weeks and you're not feeling anything beyond well wishes for the person, then perhaps the connections that allow other people to sustain longer-term relationships just aren't there...
I'd posit that a site like this isn't the best place to obtain advice like this though... perhaps speaking to people that know your personality, your level of patience, your ability to be empathetic etc might be slightly more insightful than hearing 'jam it in her pooper' from someone like airey :)

a. you're not into her
b. you're not interested in being in a relationship at all and it's not her
c. you're gay
d. all of the above
e. you're overthinking it and psyching yourself out, and making an ass of yourself discussing her asshole in a design forum. go buy her flowers and be happy.
