this is actually pretty good. it's not pretty but it gets the job done. much better than their previous site which had no content.

the functionality is pretty cool... I hope the design is closer to the sitemap than the actual website at this point (hey it's a beta).
Kid: are you guys close to being done?
- Yeah, I LOVE the preloader that sits on screen for 5 seconds before the contact info pops in, very functional.NONEIS

To people who think its pretty good.
WHY? please tell me why its good.
- acescence0
well I guess if we're comparing it to the old one it's pretty good, though red hot pokers in my eyes would also be relatively "pretty good".
- visionary0
it looks like the old newstoday

yawn

it's pretty good because it showcases their work well and gives you shit to click on.
- designbot0
wow, I don't like it...at all.
- d_rek0
Ah, I do hate you so CP+B.
Way to keep helping mega corporations create a want for product people will never, ever need.
- JourNYC0
I dont think it showcases their work well.
I think you are thinking that its good because its CPB. In most cases, minimal portfolio usually work with good work but this actually makes their work look like shit.

the only thing this site is lacking is a design to feed your greedy eyes, if you take calls everyday from clients asking for ajax, web 2.0, networking, and "current trend" marketability this answers everyone of those "can you do this?" questions. I have a site for clients similar to this bu tno where to this scale to use as examples of how ideas can be presented, that way i'm nott trying to convince someone that doesn't know what they are talking about that i understand their wants and needs as well as have a solution to implement for them
- very articulate. Now go back to your own thread!baseline_shift
- come with me?version3
- *blushes. I never thought youd ask.baseline_shift

i don't want to have to turn my speakers on to find out who they are or what they are about.
and ugly for the sake of it isn't something i see as a plus.
- and the response on the bottom feeds is very slow.TINKLDN
- +1 i hate being assaulted with audio when i open a sitebaseline_shift

horrible, feels really clunky when you roll over things... normally fancy html sites feel really responsive this one must be badly programmed.
Also the twitter feed feels like desperation and will be pulled by tomorrow
- TINKLDN0
but i can understand why they have taken this approach. everyone wants to do social networking.
- Point50
not digging the site layout/look very much, I expect more from them design-wise.
on the other hand, I did see some commercials that I had no clue they produced; some good, others horrible.

I'm not a fan of videos talking about stuff elsewhere on the page.
Unless it's done really well of course http://www.petersage.com/meetpet…

The issue is that the idea is about web2.0 and how much they can be web2.0 in a single page.
First thing about being creative is that you dont provide solutions that is not required. Just because everyone is doing it or everyone wants it, it doesnt mean that its be the best approach.
This case is the worst approach.
