it feels so cackhanded. I've done at least 3 hours every day this week, even setup an Eclipse view for it, development doesn't feel any nicer. Why do people hype it so much?
On a more constructive tip, does anyone have any alternatives for generative visuals? I've been using VVVV (www.vvvv.org) for a while, and so far it's wonderful. Just wondering if theres any other cool, related shit, worth learning.

its not that people hype the application, is the actual work produced by talented people around the world, processing is just a tool like any other.

Played with Fyre in the past, too bad it's not been updated since then but then again it did it's job very capably.
I was thinking more real-time generative stuff, or even if anyone knows any good events happening in London.
I've been messing around with this kinda stuff for years and really would like to move in that direction (with a bit of a design vibe to it of course).

Absolutely love processing. Made something I had been thinking about for years in one day...Never had the energy to start an opengl/directx project...
