Can anyone please tell me if these prices on ebay for a Nikon D90 are actually a good deal, or am I about to be conned?
cheers.

Really? Is that a good rule to go by? I've ordered a laptop on ebay before with no probs, but yeah not so sure about buying a camera...

Key thing about camera is the shot count. Someone could have 10,000 shots on them and you can never be sure until you get it since EXIF data can be altered.
If I was to consider buying from ebay, I would ask for shot count and ask them to take a pic with that camera on a newspaper so you can check out the EXIF data.

BEWARE!!!
if you buy it from a different country you WILL be charged tax when it arrives by the courier, and you'll end up paying the same as anywhere else!!!!trust me i know from experience

Oddly, the best price I've come across in the UK thus far is at dixons, including the 18mm-105mm lens...
