Can anyone recommend a protector for the iPhone 3G S?
Thanks

I've had a 3g for about 6 months, it's been in a leather case since new. I didn't like the feel of screen protectors so didn't fit one, the touch screen is the whole point of an iPhone, why compromise it?. I just wipe the screen with a micro-fibre cloth every week, it is still in mint condition.

i hate people who buy accessories for their gadgets and shit. Whats the point of hiding it and too scared to use it when it goes out of fashion / technologically inferior in one year?

/\ exactly.
the only special care I give my iphone is it's own designated pocket, so it doesn't get destroyed by coins and keys.
you're going to trash it in two years anyway, you may as well enjoy it while you can.

there are some screen protectors that prevent fingerprints a little easier.

I used one on my 2nd gen iPhone for a few months until it started to peel up, haven't used one since and no scratches.
Just dont put your keys in the same pocket and you'll be fine.

do yourself a favor and get the anti-glare screen protector - won't show fingerprints like the others. my case is a simple 1-piece clear plastic, fits in my pocket and is very unobtrusive.

The iPhone screen doesn't scratch easily. I have had mine for almost a year with no screen protector and not a scratch. I just wipe it with a moist lens cloth and micro-fiber cloth when I get tired of seeing my smudges.

Mine got its first scratch when I put it on a bar one night, glass down. Since then it got some more.. it's not that hard I'm afraid.
