looks for some inspiring ways to animate stills in after effects. i'm not looking for the cutup photoshop camera move that everyone's sister does, something new please

Could people please post some interesting examples of stills that have been animated in AE, I am not looking for ones which have 3D moves on them as I think they are quite commonplace. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Why not cut out parts of the photos and fade them up at different times.

Why not chose a variety of blend modes and create a soup of imagery and then vary the opacity of some layers in order to bring important images to the eye more than others.What kind of images have you got?. Have you tried lots of things and nothing you have done has looked good?.

i've tried a few things and it just all looks too static. i'm working with product renderings of tools with alpha channels. just trying to get my head in a different direction

if the tool has a handle different color to the business end, do a color key with a huge tolerance that way you can bring in two parts of the tool separatly, creatign a bleeding effect, feather the key and animate the tolerance.

print the stills. get a video camera. stand in front of it and record yourself doing movements by hand. it will be fresh and low-tech.
