wrap a label around a bottle

trying to take a supplement label and wrap it around a supplement bottle....
tried using the transform>wrap in ps3 but its looking like complete shit.
anyone have any useful tips or suggestions?

i got an image of a supplement bottle on a white bg in photoshop and the label as a psd.
- I would resolve this in photoshop for sure, the 3d work in illustrator is a starting point.NONEIS

You can also use the 'spherize' I think to get a wrap effect. But I usually just place the label over the bottle and use the burn or airbrush tool to shade the edges, looks like gold.

dmay, thanks.... saw that tut.... nice but he's got a bit of prep work.... tried warping it, but it looks like complete shit. Didn't realize i sucked that bad at ps.

Do you have After Effects? The other method that comes to mind is using the CC Cylinder plugin to warp your label, and then export a PNG or something...

after effects? oh no way.... shit i tried that program in school and was completely confused.
i thought theres a way to do it in photoshop....
