They found a donor, did the transplant, and he's doing fine according to the blog. So I guess they're still collecting donations, I didn't see anything about how much they had or needed but I assume it's to cover payments that will be going on for a while...

Ok, wwfc. As far as I can read, apparently the bloke what designed the typeface 'Black Slabbath', Justin Van Hoy, has leukemia. In order to offset some of the costs of the treatment, YouWorkForThem are donating a portion of every sale of Black Slabbath to Justin to help cover the costs of his treatment.
There are three sentences on both the opening post and the YouWorkForThem website explaining this.
So, my question is, do you think that this is a marketing ploy in poor taste or a joke, because in no part of any of the three sentences does it imply that this is a piss take.
Im drunk at the moment, but this is easy for me to understand. So whats your reasoning or, again, are you a halfwit?

Poor guy, hope he pulls through okay. Even if he's doing okay now after the chemo/radiation there is always the remission period that it may relapse. Hope it all turns out ok for him.
- This donation was started after he relapsed from chemo. So, hoping he doesn't relapse a second time.ismith

i sent a little something your way, justin. i feel like we share a few things in common. we're around the same age. we're both designers. we both lived in charleston for some time and we both share the same name. i was also hit with tragedy last summer and qbn helped me out greatly during my time of need so its the least i can do. best of luck to you justin!
