Whats the average in UK recruitment agencies?
I mean, how do they charge you? Do they ask for a % of your first/monthly wage? or for a fixed fee, or etc..?

Eh? They tend to charge the employer a percentage of the first x months salary. You, as a mere peon, shouldn't have to pay anything, imo.
If you're on the employer side - I suggest you make a few phone calls and find out yourself, as I doubt there are many hard and fast rules.

To my best knowledge, it is illegal in Socialist Europe to charge the prospective (or just realized) employee for seeking a job for him (neither for having found one for him).

The recruitment agency charge the employer for finding them staff. Job seekers should never pay anything.
