A bit loose (spacing-wise) but it does have that retro feel. I personally would've pulled a little visual inspiration in from the old Pentagram Public Theater work, which are very similar to the posters posted by rippedursite above:

please take photos that you can see, half of the image is blurry... I hate when designers take photos of the work like this.... WHY? you are not adding anything to the design or look by trying to be a fancy photographer

did you give yourself that nickname?

it seems like you need more shit. i like the authentic posters you pulled for inspiration all have that "too much shit on the page" style the best:
but urs are good too if you're happy with the outcome. i like the red, maybe print them on a dirtier looking stock? something that looks yellowed from tobacco or something.

I would say tighten up the spaces a bit more. your references look good when it's too cluttered, and also when there's a bigger scale difference in the type. it gives me something to notice first- now there's too much space between everything and nothing really catches my eye. I have to search for the information. maybe try giving it a bigger difference in scale with the type to help this.

So...everybody gets Ticket #000? It's on there twice, so you must think it's important. I don't get it.
I also don't understand why there are two wrestlers on there, but only one name. I understand you went for the old wrestling poster look, but did you have to use wrestlers for a stag party? It doesn't seem relevant, and frankly, it's a bit misleading. I wasn't joking about adding women and booze to the poster, but whatever.
- if you used a little common sense, you realize that tickets are being numbered....imnotadesigner
- and that the zeros are just placeholders for now, and that they're tear-off for the drawimnotadesigner

Yo Anthony, those came out really nice. All the varied stocks looks great. I'll put some of my political wrestlers in the post for you later this week.

so what kind of other shit do you guys think I could put on the page to give it that "too much shit on the page" look?
