Oh lawd, what have I done? scooped up 3 cr's on craigslist for $500.
Hopefully I can have these out of here by Christmas..
The '02 250 came with a title. Seized up motor and needs a carb.
'01 250 is a super clean chassis, needs wheels, handlebars, motor, carb, seat and electrical
'98 125 needs wheels and a motor, forgot how light that bike was.
- Turn one of them into a dirt tracker and come racing! I'm probably hitting the track in Waco in September.GM278
- I think my braap days are over! I need to sell these and turn my attention to that truck.BonSeff
- WOW... thats a fucking bargin!!!necromation

So after that CB750 above that lasted me less than a week - i'm sure one of the rings was blown out and fucker seized up on me locking up the back wheel on a fucking hill. She when straight back and i got a full refund - must have known it was a lemon.
I've decide to take my 03 Monster M750i and give her to the great guys at Foundry Customs to give her a bit of a facelift and engine once over and transform into something similar to one of their earlier projects... A real town/twisty killer with a good bit of torque!
Can't fucking wait!
- NICE!moldero

So having only been riding a short period of time and needing to ride more and more, faster and faster it seems the natural progression to take it to the track, unleash them demons... Also to stop me killing myself and hurting someone else in the progress.
I introduce my weapon of choice... a 2003 Ducati 749r (Race and road ready)
Ps: i tried to look at Jap bikes but i just can't walk away from my Italian obsession.
- love it.zenmasterfoo
- nice man! whats your rubber selection your laying down on the track?moldero
- So far, i've been using Super Corsa Pros II... them suckers are pricey! I might try some Metzeler's next as they are WAY cheaper.necromation
- I've been out of the game for a while, for me I was all about the Dunlop 208's, a new set every 2 weeks, that shit was pricey.moldero
- Never tried Dunlop's.necromation
- they worked great for me except for that 1 time I switched to dunlop 207GPs for a race in the rain, I wasnt told they dropped faster so I broke 2 shoulders.moldero
- loved the 208's though, sticky as shit, I'm so old I don't even know if they make them anymore hahamoldero
- your going to love the track brother! my plan was 'go 1 time' and that was it, the following race season I was signed up, all my $ went to tires and racesmoldero
- lol @molde "... I wasnt told they dropped faster so I broke 2 shoulders". Sorry for laughing, it was just your casual delivery!goldieboy
- Moldero... I can see this ruining my life LOL!necromation
- my motorcycle days were the highlight of my life, enjoy it brother!!moldero

- can't decide which one I want the most. one is my next bike for sure.dyspl
- whats the dif?2002
- apart from styling, engine mostly :
ducati is a 2cylinders, mv augusta 3cylinders.dyspl - 2cylinders :more torque, presumably funnier at lower speed.
3cylinder very good compromise between 2 and 4. good torque and still a high rev enginedyspl - between 2 and 4. good torque and still a high rev enginedyspl
- My 848 HATES low speeds... With a passion! I can almost hear her cursing me in town.necromation
- I'm gonna get a F3 (675cc) to add to my stable ;)necromation
- ah! lower speed doesn't mean low speed :)
I'd love the F3, but reliability scares me a little..dyspl - hard pick. mv be more exclusive.
the duc might be better street bike.akrok

- I went shopping for a 2 stroke years back, hard to find a street legal 1 statesidemoldero
- the 2 strokes are a better ride but harder on the upkeep. The special "quick shift" make up for that on these :)necromation
- "better ride' will never be on a slower, low powered bike.albums
- < a lot less braking on the track
I tried to lap my buddy, he was on a 125 and i was on a 1000moldero - I couldnt even get him off my ass, then again he was pro and about 20 years older than memoldero

- I just bought one this year. But The deets on the image below are pretty accurate. Rides real smooth, i've pushed it a lot since I've had it. Corners nice, gas milage is a little shoddy right now since It's still being broken in.Vandal7
