I don't think you can do that. If you want your G5 to be wireless you'll need a wireless card.

Welded is right - you need an airport card in your G5 to pick up the signal from the Airport Express (which you just plug into your Broadband modem or router).
Once setup they are pretty damn good.

But saying that, I have used my Airport Express to provide an Ethernet connection over Wireless before, you just need 2 Airport Express'.
Modem/Broadband Router to Airport creates a Wifi signal then another Airport connected to G5 via Ethernet cable picks this up.

Ok so i think i just need an airport card thing (one of those things that they don't sell on the apple site anymore.... strangely enough)
