why do you need a apps for that? wouldn't that be the same as using templets. then???
- you wireframe how a thing works, for UI, before designing it. totally different thingkelpie

what do you want to get from the wireframing? do you want to be able to demo the site navigation / functionality to the client?
- juhls0
Pretty much anything.
OmniGraffle...sure. I find Illustrator and Photoshop are the easiest. Even paper with a faint grid.

I submitted wireframes to my boss for the last project I did, and these were his exact words, I shit you not:
"What are these? The client won't understand these. Don't do this again, it's a waste of their money."
I laughed to myself.

Balsamiq Mockups will literally save you hours when it comes to wireframes a site or app. It looks a bit turd when you first get to the website, but it's *truly* great. Uses Adobe Air so is cross platform.

pencil [actual one not the ffox plugin] + paper followed by a very simple app like = pencil, balsamiq, viso, gliffy, etc...
The key is that they should be very adaptable until they are set in stone. The marketing dept where I work think comps = wireframe and that copy is not an integral part of the design. total bummer.
