So is anyone else into this band? I had not listened to them until I saw them on SNL a while back, and was totally hooked.
Just got the new album on Tuesday and damn I can't stop listening to it. I've not had an album make me feel this happy / positive about life in general in quite a while. It's just overall beautiful, catchy, and destined for my top 5 at the end of the year.

Songs Lisztomania and 1901 are such killer songs for the beginning of an album.

This album is much different from past efforts. Not any worse or better, but I do love it a lot and have been listening almost exclusively to it for the past few weeks.

I really only liked Rally from the last album. This one sounds great so far. Seems like they've been listening to Hot Chip and or Cut Copy a lot.

i still absolutely love this track:
i bought the album "united" on vinyl on a whim way back when without listening to it in-store. i remember bringing it home and dropping the needle on each track thinking "fucking yuck! next track" until i got to "If I Ever Feel Better"...then the $17.99 that i just spent seemed a little bit more worth it.

First heard this band during Lost In Translation (Too Young) and took me a while to find out they were current and not from the 80s ;)
Downloaded their albums and they're fucking amazing. New album is superb.

Happened to be listening to Phoenix when I stumbled across this thread :). I had a friend tell me about them earlier and never really gave them a hard listen. Diggin' this new album of theirs though. Definitely a feel good summer album.
