Oh, I forgot, I was the lead designer for the Associated Students at UCSD for a couple of years. I had no formal training and my work showed that, but I loved it. That's what got me into school to really learn graphic design.

first 'real' job (not counting all of those BS local jobs) was a Flash website for the singer 'Amber' from around 1999 or so. She had that clubbish song 'This is your night' (Lyrics were something like..."Dancing free until the morning night' or something along those lines. The site was pure shit now that I think about it. Flash was still new at the time.

First ever design related job was as a trainee draughtsman at a patent office. I only lasted about three months and had to be let go because my technical drawings weren't tidy enough. It was all .18mm rotring line and radius work on gateway trace. I was 15 and I just couldn't complete a drawing without making a smudge or getting something wrong. It was torture.

Student Designer for CU Denver's Career Center. Learned how to work within really borning branding guidelines and take direction form a boss that thought she knew good design because she had a minor in marketing twelve years ago.
Working as in house with a different company now and not much has changed except I get paid alot more and have rad benefits = stable hours
