maybe it needs a front grill? the character could have that same long face as the front, and always have his head out the window to see. I can already see it.

I think that the front looks too much like the trunk and the suggestion of the larger grille would help distinguish it more. Looks like a roger rabbit mobile or something. I digs.

You do realise, don't you, that if you made it the other way round, ie the hood was the other end and the car went to other way... it would actually be quite a cool cartoon car reminiscent of the old 50's fin-mobiles.
