except for the type treatment which, imho, i think is too heavy, i like the logo. trite, maybe. but simple, clean and nice.

I like the concept; though imo the aperture-ring could have been made to look a lot more delicate - and the gem-stone positioning looks a bit unbalanced to me.

Personally, I think it's quite clever. It would be a shame if it was a rip.
Aperture + ring = wedding photographer.
It does vaguely remind me of Chase too, but the interpretation is pretty much apples to bananas. I would even go so far as to say Chase's logo makes less sense.

The idea was to give the most cliche photography icon a simple twist by adding the diamond. It was an intentional 1+1=3 execution.
Simple wit. Sometimes the old cliches work best when you can give a fresh take on it.As for the red blood diamond logo above, nice try.
