sorry i can't answer your question. in my experience tho, the waves plug-ins are vastly superior if you're looking for mastering tools. the UAD also does a much better emulation of the pultec eqp-1a

it's specifically for the FM Broadcast preset in it.
i've had the demo of TrackS3 working on ableton, but that expired after 15 days.
i want to do a mixdown of a load of tracks and was just planning to do it in ableton so i can tweak paramaters in the eq of individual tunes to get them sounding similar with FM Broadcast affecting them.
Was talking to a mate earlier and he said the same as you's - he uses it as a standalone application.
Will give it a shot.
or start saving pennies for v3

oops, my first post should have finished with
"Does TrackS2 work with Live?"
cos i know TrackS3 works with live.

TrackS3 has gotten pretty poor reviews, actually. I can't imagine paying $500 for that, just to get the one feature set. That dosh would probably get you into some Waves bundles? Or some other really nice EQ/Compression situations.
What software do you have now?

its ableton live 6 im using boobs.
As suggested i've been fannying around with T-Racks2 as a standalone program and feeding in wavs and adding FM Broadcast.
Thats working for me for the moment. :)
