Level 5, really?!
He said eight swine flu deaths had been reported to the WHO: seven in Mexico and one in the US. To date, 114 confirmed cases of infection have been reported to the WHO. They are: Canada 13, US 64, Mexico 26, Israel two, Spain four, UK two and New Zealand three.
US health officials confirmed a total of 91 human cases. "We're reporting 91 confirmed cases in the United States," Richard Besser, acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told a news briefing.

Is the Level 5 out of proportion?
Do they want to scare us or is it really than severe?

check this out! something to consider....just received mail from a friend in México city, people are starting to talk about how all this is a set up to deflect attention from ongoing political situations... she included this video called "the shock doctrine".

^ so....is it just a hoax type of thing?

Swine flu is really an assassination attempt:
http://www.independent.co.uk/new…
The powers at be are losing their hold -- they knew Spechter was going to defect to Democratic party soon, and that NY flyover was not know by FAA nor known by Obama -- last ditch ploys to instill more fear and panic post economic downturn.
. . . . thats just what I heard.

i wouldn't take the possibility that there are political motivations and mechinisms behind the outbreak lightly. Bio warfare is the real deal and this is the sort of senario that reeks of it.

C'mon guys. If there is actual evidence that it is a conspiracy/ hoax/ etc sure, but it seems like some people want to believes that stuff just because they can. That Alex Jones guy was up with his alternate explanation before the thing was barely in the news for two hours.
It's getting to the point where if a seagull crapped on your head you would probably blame it on the NWO.

ok ok...but about 300,000 people die every year from flu and nothing is said...soooo, this Mexican flu, as they call it, is a new type of flu...but is it worth shaking the media and panicking people?
- KwesiJ0
forget alex jones forget NWO conspiracies, desease and pandemics have been made and used for political reasons for centuries...its a reality of the world we live in. I mean if a pandemic broke out and Obama said it was Mexican terrorists then everyone would believe him but say that people related to the gov. possibly caused it and/or is exploiting the situation and all of a sudden its bullshit.
- Stick to design because rhetoric just isn't your forte, son.homeostatic

Well everyone knows the media likes to stir up a panic because it will help them get more viewers and sell advertising. So that is your conspiracy theory right there.

This thread is chock full of stupid.
- Well, we're designers, not immunologists. Designers are one step up from grocery store baggers.homeostatic
