Some sort of photo assembly is always nice. Went to a relative's wake last week, he was a WW2 vet. Was really neat to see pics from the 40's, 50's and so on, and see his life represented. People love to look at those.

it all depends on what the person in the box would have wanted and the impression they would have wanted to leave with the people attending. That being said, Harlequino's suggestion is great. I'm used to wakes where there's lots 'o crying and people throwing themselves on coffins. not "good" by any stretch, but that's what it is.
