dropped down drop-down

can anyone tell me why this drop-down menu is in the correct position (located right below the buttons) in Internet Explorer, but dropped down by 15 pixels lower when viewed in Firefox???

oh man. just had a look at this, i haven't used a js drop down menu in years.
as an alternative menu try this :
it uses jquery but does not rely on it for the drop down.

in the rendered code that the js is putting out, you have a number of instances where it says:
top: 3.5px;
There is no such thing as half a pixel, so this could be causing a problem. If you're going to swap it out, you might consider this one:

interesting. i viewed the page source and don't see anything showing 3.5px. can you explain where you saw this? thanks
