Anyone seen this movie - The Man Who Souled The World?
I just watched it last night after a friend sent it to me. Great movie about the start of World Industries, Big Brother magazine, the battles with Powell, and the starts of so many skaters like Mike Valleley, Jason Lee, Eric Koston, Danny Way, Guy Mariano, etc. etc.
I had no idea about this movie until this weekend. It made me sad that I'd lost so many copies of Big Brother from back in the early 90s. Used to have so many of them.
Also - I'd totally forgotten how small wheels were for a while back in early 90s.

I saw it. Nothing very enlightening in it if you lived through that era. Was actually kind of disappointed they didn't get deeper into things.

Have you seen the Hosoi movie? It was on the other night too. You see how he made skating what it is today. That was my skate hero.

I've not seen the Hosoi movie; need to check that out. My friend has just about every skateboard movie ever made on his server, surprised he doesn't have that.

It was a really good movie. It shows how he fell into the void of drugs and completely lost it. Glad he came out of it ok.

I saw it and thought it was graet. It's fun to see all the B-Roll footy. Rocco is a genius.
