For some reason adobe's cs4 media encoder is slower in some scenarios than the cs3 based encoder. After doing some research, sure enough, others are experiencing this problem so I was wondering what you use to encode FLV files from various formats.
I really dig cs4 encoder's ui, settings, and options but it's just too slow. Can you recommend something faster?
Thanks!

Sorenson squeeze (formerly Sorenson spark)
historically has been the alternative to the flash video encoder

http://www.ffmpegx.com/ might be faster, though a bit hard to make it function as you want sometimes

doood ffmpegx is wicked fast. It took a 10th of the time for me to encode the same exact QT source file with the same options.
Thanks a ton,

I just export from After Effects. You get the same dialogue as you do in Flash.
