I am a married man.
I am married to a woman - we are what you would call a 'straight couple'.
I would like you observe what happens to our marriage should the gays across the street be allowed to marry each other.
At first all might appear normal and as before... I would appear to put out the trash, maybe collect the mail, collect the paper from the driveway. Suburban bliss you might think.
But you'd be wrong.
Gay 'A' would also be out collecting his mail, dragging his trashcan to the kerb on a Tuesday, maybe washing his car.
When they were single, (as the Lord intended), I wouldn't have paid them much attention as they frolicked in the water of the hose, skipping around their big pink car like a couple of naughty little nymphs, but now that they're married - well gee...I'm guessing they must both work out. AND tan, how do they get shorts that fit like that ? And Gay 'B's cute little beard is just to DIE for...look at them running round the yard after each other. They have much more fun being married than I do...It's just not fair. It's not.
I'm going to pack up and head over there myself and see if they'll let me join in. If only you'd fought a bit harder, nationformarriage.org - if only you hadn't banned these filthy gays from playing house like they do so temptingly now, if only you'd made everyone see what a ridiculous and sinful bunch they all are then I would probably stayed on 'my side of the street'. What happened to the gay people who got married in California? Are they SOL?
