I don't get Twitter. I don't get the fascination with mundane details. 99% of the people who use it are probably self-centered, self-important people with no active social lives beyond their computers.

- Tweets don't have to be mundane. You might be following the wrong people. Its your choice.ribit

Every website since 1994 that has ever allowed blog posts of any kind can simply cap their character limit to 140 characters, and suddenly it's Twitter as well.

- this is why i like posting in notes. fucking character limit. i love it.********

twitter can be used in many ways for 'buzz', or even to make money.... just dpends how you use it.
personally i think its a waste of fucking time.

I don't think so, it's too predictive for Google and I'm sure is not hard to implement a box where you can type up to 144 characters so the rest of us can read and comment about it. Facebook and MySpace can implement it real fast.
It feels like there's social networking bubble in the internet.

isn't QBN just a twitter in disguise?

I can't wait till my Tweets are highlighted with AdWords. Hoorah.

$1bil is what the twitter people are saying, Google wants to pay $250k. This is just normal negotiating, no worries =)
