I have a really old scanner 'Agfa Duoscan' that just whips the ass of my Epson 4870 Photo everytime.
Only problem is I have to connect it up with my 10 year old G3, are there any cables out there that have a SCSI to USB or Firewire connection?

Using one of them cables will the scanner be recognised in leopard?
Or.... Could I just take the SCSI board out of my G3 and just install that into G5?
- Search for the model number of your SCSI board and see if it works in your G5?Nairn
- where would I find that?mirrorball

On the card somewhere?
I dunno with you mac people - if it were a PC, I'd take it apart, search for the component details - I assume macs use OTS tech too, just from a more specific selection.
The really important thing will be the form of interface between SCSI card and motherboard - it could be that your current Mac doesn't even have the same connection.
I don't know though, just mumbling.
