Another old favorite - in those same fields I mentioned that were being destroyed to make a new home subdivision, there were always all sorts of tractors and earth-moving equipment. It was a blast to play on them and we were constantly trying to figure out how to turn them on and/or look for hidden keys...
AS IF ANY OF US HAD ANY IDEA HOW TO DRIVE A GIANT TRACTOR
Seriously, what would we have even done if we'd started one up?

- I personally loved building battleships and aircraft carriers.
https://www.revell.d…utopian - I was more of a plane boy myself, but never dared make the move to painting them, it seemed to require so much skill... I definitely should have given it a go!spl33nidoru
- I was obssessed with building the balsa planes using tissue paper, you can't paint those, I found out the hard way. The paint dissolves the glue on the paper.cherub

<That's the good stuff. Listening to GnR's Rocket Queen while putting car models together. I'm stockpiling kits for that perfect time.bezoar - I recall my most involved project was a Peterbuilt 359. Eventually, the glue failed and they fall apart:
