I've been doing it for 1 and 3 months more or less. I was just wondering if there are fellow creatives (gosh I hate that word) who also practice this beautiful sport?

I think most just have the fixed-gear. Parked in the livingroom :)

I once built my own bike up. I bought a secondhand Reynolds 501 tubed Holdsworth frame that was at least 30 years old, had it sandblasted, resprayed and loaded with lightweight gear. It was a beauty. Once did 900 miles in 7 days on it riding from London to Hartlepool, across the pennines and back through Wales. But that was 21 years ago. These days I can just about manage the odd ride to work.

I've been racing for 3 years now. Got my ass handed to me last Sunday, though I managed to dodge two crashes, so it wasn't all bad.
