Target had it (PS3 BioShock) on sale for 26.99. I was going to buy it but all FPS' look alike to me. is it work it?

"is it work it?" you mean worth it? yes. expecially at 26.99 It is defenitely unlike any FPS when I first started playing, but the dead space pretty much took the same game, then added horror in space.
Bioshock has a great story, creative, imaginative, and it really allows for the player to play however you want. i will say i did lose interest for a while but then finished it.

Loved the first one. Highly recommended. Every player finishes the game differently, it's all about decisions you make, so a sort of choose your own destiny game. This made it great as well as the highly creative idea/game play etc...Easily would of been game of the year if not for the huge COD4 success.

I need to get on the first one. A friend loaned it to me the same day I got Skate 2 and Halo 3. Been playing Skate 2 much more and still addicted to COD4.

I really wish they had just made another systemshock instead of branching off into bioshock. Bioshock is marketed as a totally new game but it's just a skin over the systemshock gameplay with many elements that were just a little too weird.
I still loved bioshock though. It just fell a little too close to the tree imo
