A tutorial or anything? They dont look hand drawn to me. Just not too sure where to start. Any ideas? Thanks.

A. Learn how to draw (pay attention to light sources and how it affects an object.
B. Sketch it out (or just draw it yourself)
C. take a huge black and white picture (something like outerspace or pavement, or wood) thats got alot of tonal variation then take it apart and put it bach together with different tones on different sides of your little shape.

just batesole it.

yeah, i think pulling a batesole may be easier. and i can still claim credit!

The top right is just bathroom tile - look at a bigger picture of the album art.Top left appears to be an image of space reproduced in geometric form. Bottom is just some cubes with added texture.
So, for example, to achieve the effect at the top left...
1. Get a big image of space with plenty of contrast (or adjust the contrast if necessary).
2. Draw each side of the shape to use as a mask.
3. Apply a part of the image where necessary to achieve appropriate light/shade.

Are you not a bit late to jump on this bandwagon?
- Amicus0
damn! is it the band or the wagon I shoulda been following?
- dewilde0
better late than never. i jump on whatever bandwagon the client wants me on. yes, i am a whore. no triangles though, so i wont be on that one.
- wtf, no triangles?!?! Tell me they want gradient overlays, at least!?baseline_shift
- of course. something a little different though...neon! and some smoky clouds for good measure.dewilde
