jysta - I like where you're going with your second pass. Out of these I like three, but like some others have eluded, maybe consider moving towards a little more substantial with the logo's "flair."

thanks for all the feedback guys! I'll post some further developments tomorrow/ once I have digested all the comments. My first logo crit on here and its been a really useful thing to do tbh, esp working solo like I do.

no prob. this is the only place i go to for crit on my work. i can never trust anybody i know in person to say how they really feel about something. everything always looks "cool" or "nice" to them (for the sake of being friendly). qbn can be brutal w/ crits sometimes, but at least we're honest, and that's what matters.

2 and you need to simplify the swirls. Shrink them their over powering the readability of your mark, you focus on the color green and yellow and your eye is not led to the mark which I think is a mistake because it reduces memorability.

What is this, some sort of cunt? Everything is shitty with this so called logo. And try to read the tagline. You can't? Maybe it's because it's so fucking tiny you need to handout a magnifier with each entity of this so called logo on every medium? You think your client can afford buying so many magnifiers? Especially now, when everyone should do their best to keep the money home? Does a company with such so called logo show that they can survive the financial crisis at all? Or do you think if they have "capital" in their so called logo they can buy all the magnifiers all the magnifier manufacturer in the world can produce? Not as long nobody can read the fucking tagline without the fucking magnifier, my friend!

try using #1's type treatment, with #4's ribbons, and either leave out the separator between the tagline or space it out more/ lighten the divider.

have you tried stacking the logo vertically? with capital underneath?

I like 2. I'm not fond of number 4's partial capitals in the Agh. keep the letters either all small case or upper case.

hermes: there's a link to that rather than streamers etc. why go with green rather than blue? the brief?
I'd work off the winged foot rather than ribbons.

what about making the "A" the mark, and have the streamers flow from it, like in the hermes pic? The words could underneath, or flush left.....

why not make the streamers form the letters AGH...? would clean it up a big and you can have a version with and without that tag. it is problematic.
